TAL FITZPATRICK AND MELISSA SPRATT: STORYFEST WORKSHOP

Join artists Tal Fitzpatrick and Melissa Spratt in the lead up to Storyfest for a creative and kindness-filled workshop!

Local artists Melissa and Tal will lead this two-hour workshop and explore the power of craft and kindness to inspire individual well-being and social change. You’ll learn finger knitting and felt banner-making techniques while helping develop key messaging for light pole banners that will be displayed during Storyfest 2025.⁠

⁠When: Thursday 12 December, 9.00am to 11.00am
Where: Somerset College, Year 11 Common Room⁠
Open to students, parents, grandparents, and the wider community (ages 10 to16 must be accompanied by a guardian).⁠

⁠Participants will also gain the skills needed to volunteer for the 2025 Storyfest Guerilla Kindness activation. Let’s craft for kindness, connection, and change!
